Our guests only

Over the years we have built direct relationships with the people who work on this beach and on this stretch of sea: the beach point a hundred metres from the house, the motorboat that leaves the harbour every morning, the fisherman who comes back in with his nets. That is where the arrangements on this page come from.

They are not tour packages bought from an agency: they are our own arrangements, reserved for guests staying at Appartamenti Greco.

Our restaurant gives our guests a 20% discount for the entire duration of their stay.

It is the one benefit that depends on no availability at all: it always applies, from the first day to the last.

02 100 m from the apartment

Sunbeds and parasols at a special rate

Marina di Campo is the longest beach on Elba: a kilometre and a half of sand with a seabed that slopes gently: the reason families with small children come back here year after year.

The Il Granello beach point is on Via della Foce, a hundred metres from the apartment: a two-minute walk, with no car to move and no parking to hunt for in August. You will find a parasol, sunbeds and deckchairs at a rate reserved for our guests, plus lifeguard service, shower, changing room and an area to leave toys and inflatables.

Island tour by motorboat

On a map Elba looks small, but you only understand its real shape from the water. The full tour is aboard the Magic Princess, the largest motorboat in service at Marina di Campo: three decks, an indoor lounge, a bar and a sun deck.

You leave the harbour in the morning and sail the whole perimeter of the island, with swimming stops in coves you cannot reach by land: Cannello below the Calamita mines, Sansone, Fetovaia. Lunch is served on board.

The entire route lies inside the Pelagos Sanctuary, the largest protected area in the Mediterranean for marine mammals: bottlenose dolphins, striped dolphins and common dolphins live in these waters and you often come across them. Nobody can promise you that: but when it happens, it is the thing your children will remember about the holiday.

04 With Captain Feola

Fishing tourism: a day at sea

This is not a tourist boat trip: it is a Marina di Campo fisherman's working day, and you are part of it.

You leave the harbour with Elba Pesca Turismo, aboard the Iselba IV. Captain Giuliano Feola is a third-generation Elban fisherman: he takes you out to the fishing grounds, sets the nets and the octopus pots, and puts the hauling in your hands. You see what came up, how it is untangled, how it is sorted.

Then you stop in a quiet cove, swim, and eat on board: a chef cooks the fish right there, and it is what was caught two hours earlier, not what was bought at a counter.

This is what we recommend to anyone who has already seen Elba and thinks they know it.

05 Up to 10 guests · exclusively yours

Private sailing trip

If you would rather not share the boat with anyone, the Zi'Lina goes out exclusively for your family: a 10-metre motorsailer, up to ten guests, so there is room to breathe, with a highly experienced Official Guide who knows every inlet on the island.

When the wind allows, the sails go up and you go wherever the sea takes you: no fixed routes and no commercial stops, the anchor drops wherever the swim looks good. Hidden coves, snorkelling, SUP, and time slowing down.

You can choose between two formats: a full day, with an aperitif and lunch on board; or an afternoon trip, with swimming stops and an aperitif at sunset, coming back into harbour as the first stars appear.

This is an optional extra service, not a discounted arrangement: we give you the contact, you agree the rest directly with the guide.

How they work

When you book your stay we send you our partners' direct contacts. You call them, you say you are staying at Appartamenti Greco, and the reserved rate applies without you having to do anything else.

Availability is theirs, especially in the middle weeks of August: the sooner you call, the better. We are not an agency and we take no commission: the only arrangement is that whoever sleeps at our place pays less.
